Graduate wearing cap and gown.
Sample of how your cap and gown should fit

National Recognition Products has the largest selection of academic regalia available in the industry and we use only the highest quality fabrics. Leave it to NRP to make you look and feel great in your graduation attire; we don’t stop there either – you’ll often find us milling about prior to the graduation ceremony to make sure that everyone is outfitted to perfection!

The cap should be worn on the head. It should not be tilted. The front of the cap crown should be about 1 inch from your eyebrows.  The tassel should be worn on the right side of the cap before your diploma is received.  A tassel ceremony generally will take place at commencement where students will move their tassel all at once to the left side.

Your gown should flow freely and not be tight around your waist.  The sleeves should come to your wrists and the length should fall below your knees around mid-calf.  If you need a different size, please complete our online exchange form.  An exchange can take up to two weeks so please be sure to try on your cap and gown as soon as possible.

To eliminate wrinkles from your gown, either steam or use a cool/warm iron. Another way to eliminate wrinkles is to add a cup of ice cubes with your gown to your clothes dryer and run for 5-10 minutes on low heat or until the ice cubes evaporate; be sure to remove promptly to avoid potential water spots.
